In Minsk, they plan to start construction of three large medical centers that will be located in different districts of the capital. This was announced to the Minsk-Novosti agency by Anatoly Vedерчик, general director of the Minskstroy state enterprise.

— In the future, we plan to start construction of three flagship medical centers in different districts of Minsk: based on the 10th City Clinical Hospital, the Minsk Scientific and Practical Center for Surgery, Transplantology and Hematology, as well as the City Emergency Medical Care Hospital.

Parallel to this, the construction or completion of other key healthcare facilities is underway in the city. In particular, the construction of a new infectious disease hospital complex has reached the final stage, consisting of a main building, four ward blocks, and several auxiliary buildings. Installation of furniture and medical equipment has already begun at the site. According to the head of Minskstroy, the process was accelerated and the final cost reduced by using lightweight steel thin-walled structures (LSTK).

Furthermore, in 2027 the capital plans to put into operation new wings of the 6th City Clinical Hospital, as well as the updated building of the Minsk City Clinical Oncology Center.
