First Deputy Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee Sergey Savitsky met with a business delegation from the People's Republic of China led by General Director of LLC "Xinnanyang Henan Province Industry Management and Operation Company" Feng Jinn. The delegation included executives and specialized specialists from companies based in Shanghai and the provinces of Henan and Hunan. The parties discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation in the agro-industrial sector and other areas of the economy.
Welcoming the guests, the First Deputy Chairman of the regional executive committee presented the economic and investment potential of Mogilev Oblast, noting the availability of prepared industrial sites and the necessary infrastructure for implementing joint projects. The Chinese delegation confirmed its interest in increasing the volume of meat and dairy product supplies from Mogilev Oblast to the PRC market, and also expressed interest in establishing production facilities for processing agricultural raw materials in the region.

General Director of OJSC "Mogilev Technology Park" Evgeny Yakimov, commenting on the outcomes of the negotiations, noted:
— For China, these figures and these enterprises are, of course, small, but this is only the beginning; we have various experience in interacting with Chinese investors. Therefore, these projects are just the starting point for mutual cooperation.

He said that representatives of the Chinese business community also offered other projects:
— They are not related to agriculture. These are projects involving aluminum products. They are interesting and gaining momentum. Naturally, we will do everything possible and impossible to find partners for them in Mogilev Oblast.
Within the framework of the meeting, specific investment proposals were discussed, including projects for the construction of livestock complexes in the Chaussky and Bobruisk districts.
