The company OJSC “Exxon” has always been renowned for its commitment to innovation and high quality standards. But the plant’s main capital is its people. Today the company is actively betting on young, ambitious specialists ready to bring fresh approaches to production. A vivid confirmation of this personnel policy was the recent strengthening of the plant’s team with young and promising employees – Sofia Rapinchuk, Ekaterina Klimovich, and Anton Matushko. It should be noted that the young man had to work only briefly, as he was called up for military service. But one can hope that after completing his service, Anton Sergeyevich will return to the OJSC “Exxon” team.
It is especially proud that both women who came to work at the plant are from Drohichyn. The return of qualified specialists to their homeland after studying at the country’s leading universities is an event of great importance not only for the company but for the entire region. When young people strive to apply the knowledge they have gained for the benefit of their hometown, it gives a boost to the development of local industry. OJSC “Exxon” creates all the conditions so that the familiar walls help young specialists build a successful career while staying at home.
After arranging a meeting in advance, a young woman – Sofia Rapinchuk – met me at the entrance. Sofia came to the plant as a young specialist, but with a solid body of knowledge. She has successfully graduated from the Belarus State Technological University. Within the walls of the country’s leading technological university, the girl not only earned a diploma but also deeply immersed herself in research, resulting in her being awarded a master’s degree in “Biotechnological and Pharmaceutical Production”.
Pharmaceuticals is an industry that
Sofia enthusiastically embraced her new role, emphasizing that for her it is both an honor and a serious challenge. Her university years awakened in her a deep interest in the very process of product creation, and after receiving her education she immediately joined the company's team.
– Work here, without a doubt, requires full commitment, but it is incredibly engaging, – Sofia noted. – The university laid a solid foundation of knowledge in me, and daily interaction with experienced colleagues and the production site allows me to constantly learn and improve. I try to adapt quickly to new tasks, I am not afraid to clarify details, and I am always ready to share my suggestions.
In her new position, Sofia faces serious tasks: from ensuring strict compliance with technological regulations to implementing new cutting‑edge developments into the product line of JSC “Exxon”.
A wonderful addition to the plant’s professional team was also Ekaterina Klimovich, who joined the staff as a technologist. Ekaterina is a graduate of Polesky State University, where she earned a sought‑after and in‑depth degree in Biology.
For biotechnological production, a qualified biologist is an indispensable employee. Ekaterina works in the production workshop, where she develops pharmaceutical products, implements new technologies, and improves production processes. Her workplace is a space for engineering thinking, analysis, and constant problem‑solving. Here, knowledge of chemistry and biology is not enough; teamwork, rapid adaptation to tasks, and readiness for change are also essential. The knowledge Ekaterina gained during her studies allows her to quickly grasp all the nuances of the technological process and ensure that every batch of produced goods meets the highest standards.
– I oversee compliance with production technology, develop formulations and technologies for pharmaceutical products. A distinct and especially interesting aspect of my work is the preparation and implementation of technological documentation. What helps me master my first job are not only the knowledge I gained at university but also the people I work with every day, – Ekaterina Klimovich shared.
Sofia says that research activity has attracted her since childhood. She derived great pleasure from mixing various components and watching how the result changes – it became a true passion in her life. Ekaterina, in turn, notes that she did not have a clearly defined goal. However, biology has always interested her, and ultimately it led her into the pharmaceutical field.
In her free time, Sofia likes to sing and does sports, while Ekaterina immerses herself in the world of books. Work has become for them not only a source of professional growth but also a place where a real friendship was born. They became not just colleagues but close friends, united by shared interests and mutual support.
Senior colleagues and management warmly welcomed the new employees, noting their determination, energy, and sincere desire to develop the enterprise.
For the girls themselves, starting a career at such a significant home enterprise is both a great honor and an excellent opportunity to realize their potential
