MART visited the Homes for the Elderly. Violations were found at 40% of the inspected sites. MART examined how Belarusian Homes for the Elderly operate today and also paid attention not only to documents but also to the external appearance of some of them. In total, specialists visited 13 Homes for the Elderly and conducted monitoring across more than 60 objects providing household services.

Legal violations were found at 40% of the inspected sites. Most frequently, there was a lack of mandatory information for clients: service terms, the executor's phone number, copies of the certificate of inclusion in the Register of Household Services, and other data.

There were even more grounding violations. In two cases, MART issued prohibitions on storing goods past their expiration dates. Among such products were, for example, nail polishes and salt stain removers.

Separately, at the ministry, MART reviewed the exterior appearance of some Homes for the Elderly. There they noted dim lighting, chaotic signage, and cramped interiors whose design had remained unchanged for decades. According to MART, such a format requires visual renovation today.

Information regarding the monitoring results has been sent to the regional utilities departments and the regional housing authorities.
