The First Deputy Minister assured that there is no need to fear a reduction in assortment. "The mandatory assortment list is the minimum amount of goods that should be on the shelf in a store according to its format and trading area. This will lead to domestic goods being presented in greater quantities to our consumer. At the same time, no one is restricting the seller today, if there is demand for foreign goods, to have a wider range of them. In other words, Belarusian goods will be presented on the shelves not instead of, but along with imported ones," she noted, and also clarified that the assortment lists do not apply to pharmacies, branded and stock stores.
