President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the employees and veterans of the Ministry of Industry and Machine-Building Complex on their professional holiday. This was reported by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

The head of state noted that Machine Builder's Day unites people whose labor is the foundation for the development of the country's economy.

"Over the years of independence, domestic machine building has undergone a difficult path of formation. Today it acts as a powerful engine of progress, ensuring reliable and efficient operation of such sectors of the economy as agriculture and forestry, transport, communications, and construction. In conditions of serious competition, enterprise collectives demonstrate high professionalism, mastering new types of products, deepening interstate cooperation, and strengthening the technological sovereignty of the republic," - says the congratulation.

Special words of gratitude were addressed by the President to veterans, those who laid the glorious traditions of the national engineering school, who restored and built factories in the post-war years. "Your experience and dedication to the cause serve as a guide for the young generation of designers, technologists, and workers," - stated the head of state.

"I am convinced that machine builders will continue to effectively solve the tasks set and strengthen the image of our country as a recognized center of industrial growth," - emphasized Alexander Lukashenko.

The President wholeheartedly wished machine builders and their families good health, happiness, success, and labor victories for the prosperity of native Belarus.
