The possibility of purchasing rental housing built by enterprises for their employees was discussed at a meeting with the President of Belarus on the prospects of housing construction and increasing the efficiency of using rental housing. This was reported to journalists by Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Terehov, according to a BELTA correspondent.

Terehov: The annual share of rental housing commissioning in Belarus is planned to be increased to 30%.

"The possibility of purchasing rental housing was also discussed at the meeting. We considered (this issue. - BELTA note) precisely based on the need to secure personnel at specific enterprises. It is exactly the housing that will be built at enterprises," said the deputy prime minister.

For example, according to existing plans, this year enterprises will build about 600 apartments for their employees.

"The head of state has instructed us to create the possibility of purchasing this rental housing after reaching a certain length of service (at the enterprise that built and provided the rental housing to the employee. - BELTA note). For example, 15, 20, 25 years," said Alexander Terehov.
