The head of state is working today in the Logy District. Alexander Lukashenko is visiting the "AMKODOR-LESMASH" enterprise, which is part of the "AMKODOR" holding group. This is the leading Belarusian manufacturer of forest harvesting machinery: harvesters, forwarders, and track vehicles.

The numbers speak for themselves: 52% of the Republic's forestry industry fleet consists of "AMKODOR" machines. Put simply, every second unit of equipment in the sector was produced by this holding.

Technological Sovereignty of the Forestry Industry

Today, the production of forest harvesting machinery directly depends on the needs of the forestry complex. This industry has strategic significance: it supplies the domestic timber market and generates export revenue.

— The production of the "AMKODOR" holding closes the main demand of the forestry complex, ensuring technological sovereignty of the industry, noted general director of OOO "AMKODOR" – the holding's managing company, Alexander Efimov.

In just eight months of this year, the "AMKODOR-LESMASH" enterprise installed 44 machines: 27 harvesters and 17 forwarders. By the end of the year, the forestry services plan to purchase another 33 harvesters and 31 forwarders.

From the Logging Truck to the Tracking Machine

The AMKODOR line of forest harvesting machinery covers key operations — from the logging truck to the track vehicle. The range includes eight-wheeled machines designed for especially harsh conditions as well as medium and heavy-class equipment intended for performing main technical operations.

For the complete set of works on caring for young trees — thinning and clearing — "AMKODOR" has mastered the production of small-scale equipment. Previously similar machines had to be purchased from abroad.

— Besides this, a universal modular forest harvesting harvester with a 4x4 wheel configuration has been developed — for main work sites and thinning work areas, noted Alexander Efimov.

Key nodes and aggregates — cabins, manipulators, drive axles, and harvester heads — are produced by the holding's enterprises. This ensures technological independence from foreign manufacturers and a rational degree of localization.

Strategy for 2026-2030 Years

Relying on the priorities of Belarus' Socio-economic Development Program for 2026–2030, the holding has formulated its own development strategy.

One of its key directions will be the organization of production of modern machines and equipment meeting current technological requirements.
