Today, Alexander Lukashenko signed Decree No. 393, which allows Belarusian business entities to sell jewelry online on a permanent basis. A mandatory requirement is the marking of products with identification means.
The decree will allow producers to expand their presence in the domestic market and increase competitiveness by attracting a larger number of buyers.
In this scheme, marking with identification means acts as a guarantee of authenticity: each unit of goods receives a unique identifier that can be verified.
For the consumer, this reduces the risk of encountering a counterfeit, and for the seller, it legitimizes the online sales channel.
Previously, such sales were regulated by separate decrees and were in effect for a limited time.
Now the restrictions have been lifted, and the rule will operate permanently. This is reported by the press office of the head of state.
