On September 24, the working youth of Bobruisk received a unique opportunity to set aside their everyday routine and view the city from a tourist perspective, get acquainted with its industrial part, study its infrastructure, discover new landmarks for themselves, and immerse themselves in a historical excursion led by Maxim Gurin, chairman of the Bobruisk City Executive Committee.

Before the excursion began, participants laid flowers at the Eternal Flame. Red carnations were placed at the memorial site as a sign of deepest sorrow and endless gratitude to ancestors for the great feat of those terrible bygone years. The tasks of the rising generation in peaceful times are to develop, preserve the rich heritage of the Motherland, and make their personal contribution to the prosperity of independent Belarus.

The final stop was the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, located on the territory of the famous Bobruisk Fortress. Special attention was given to the Minsk Gates – the historical entrance node of the fortification structure from the early 19th century. Despite the long journey, the youth had no time to get bored: Maxim Gurin focused the participants' attention on various aspects of the city's development, using concrete examples to show that Bobruisk carefully preserves the heritage of its ancestors and confidently moves forward.

– An excursion of this format is a new perspective, because the city is revealed through the lens of its leader. I found it incredibly interesting, because I deliberately chose Bobruisk and do not regret at all that my professional path begins here, – shared Nadezhda Lebedeva, primary school teacher at the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 6 of Bobruisk".

– I am glad and grateful that I managed to attend such a meeting. It was very pleasant to communicate personally with Maxim Nikolayevich, to hear how he envisions Bobruisk.
