Drivers of freight trucks crossing the Belarus‑Lithuania border were warned by the Belarusian GTC about possible delays when passing customs control.

Technical work will be carried out in Lithuania.

According to the Lithuanian customs website, on September 19 from 8:00 to 20:00 the operation of customs information systems at border crossings will be hindered. This is due to scheduled maintenance work.

Processing of trucks may take longer.

Due to the temporary restrictions, the processing time for freight vehicles may increase. Drivers are advised to take this into account when planning their trip across the border.

Meanwhile, Lithuanian authorities will process passenger cars and buses in the normal mode.
