The Chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, Alexey Kushnarenko, took part in the solemn opening of the new Mark Formelle factory in the Andijan region.

The new production site of Mark Formelle IT LLC impresses with its scale: its total area is about 60,000 square meters.

• You are valued and respected in the Republic of Belarus. You can see the friendship between our presidents, our leaders. Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Alexander Lukashenko recently met and gave a new impetus to the development of our relations. This factory is an example of our cooperation, and it is already the third one. The first was opened in the Tashkent region, then in Andijan — that's more than a thousand jobs. And today here is new production, said Alexey Kushnarenko.

According to him, this is an up-scaling example for other sectors of the national economy.

The sewing factory is equipped with modern equipment from leading European and Asian manufacturers (Italy, Germany, China). And today, 80 people have started working here. By the end of the year, it is planned that a total of 200 seamstresses will work here — a good example of how Belarus is making a significant contribution to the development of the Andijan region's economy.

• To support the launch of the new factory, a Belarusian team arrived — this is the production manager plus our specialists who are engaged in equipment setup and training of local workers, said director Natalya Zakharchenko after the ceremonial ribbon cutting.

Let us remind you, the history of Mark Formelle in Uzbekistan, the company's entry into the market and the development of distribution, began in 2018, and the official opening of the first flagship store of the Belarusian brand in Tashkent took place on March 2, 2019. The company now already has a production site and three factories. And today the name of this brand is on everyone's lips among local residents.

In Soviet times, here in Andijan, there was a factory that, over time, for known reasons, fell into severe disrepair, then changed several owners, but even they could not do anything.

— But Belarusians can do everything, that's why today we have opened a new production, — said director Natalya Zakharchenko.

— You see, how interestingly everything has come together here: investments and technologies of Belarus, as well as labor force and raw materials of Uzbekistan, — noted the governor of Minsk Region.

The expansion of production capacities of such an enterprise is an indicator of trust in Uzbekistan's investment climate and the high quality of Belarusian technologies.

By the way, although at the beginning of the visit of the Minsk Region governor to Uzbekistan it was planned to sign several commercial contracts, the main contribution to the total volume of agreements was made by LLC «Mark Formelle IT». Initially the company planned to conclude an import contract for $20 million, but as a result of the negotiations over these five days the amount increased twofold and amounted to a full $40 million — an amazing result! The contract provides for supplies of fabric, yarn and finished products between Belarus and Uzbekistan in both directions. The document was signed on September 25 by the company's director Natalya Zakharchenko and the representative of LLC «Mark Formelle IT» Dilshod Mavlanov.

By the way, the company plans to open another factory in the Pakhtaabad district of Andijan region. And this is precisely attention to that very social component: when people are provided with work at home — that is the main thing.
