The chairman of the regional executive committee, Ivan Krupko, congratulated the workers and veterans of the region's machine-building industry on their professional holiday.

"The machine-building complex of the Gomel region is rightfully considered a key link of the domestic industry, uniting more than 20 manufacturers of agricultural, road-building, and forestry equipment. Among them are not only flagship companies with thousands of employees, but also developers and producers of the latest technological solutions."

Today, the products of the machine-building industry are widely presented on the world market and supplied to 17 countries, including Asia and Africa, accounting for more than 7% of the region's industrial production and export volumes, as stated in the congratulation:

"Domestic machine-building products annually become the centerpiece of exhibitions at national and international shows, rightly receiving awards for quality. All this is possible thanks to the conscientious work of the teams, as well as the experience and knowledge of veterans passed on to the youth."
