MogilevNEWS.by 22.09.2026 During the summer period of 2026, 735 health camps operated in the Mogilev region, including 541 day camps and 194 24‑hour camps. In total, 448,834 people were rehabilitated using state funds, which amounted to 101.7 percent of the plan. This was reported by the Mogilev Regional Administration of the Republican Center for Health and Sanatorium‑Cure Treatment of the Population.

In day camps, more than 28,500 schoolchildren (58.5%) were rehabilitated, while in 24‑hour camps about 20,200 people were. In 67 stationary camps, roughly 16,000 people rested, in 74 non‑movable and 53 mobile tent camps about 2,600 and 1,600 people respectively. Additionally, 450 day educational‑therapeutic camps operated on the premises of educational institutions, where more than 22,700 people rested.

During the summer period, 123 sports‑therapeutic camps operated in the region, including 32 with 24‑hour stays and 91 with day stays. They combined rest and educational‑training processes for 6,711 pupils of various sports institutions in the region, including 5,853 in day camps and 858 in 24‑hour camps, with stay durations of 15, 12, and 9 days.

The rehabilitation of orphaned children and children with disabilities was under special supervision. In the 24‑hour camps “Kosmos,” “Boberon‑2010,” “Mechta,” and “Ptich,” pupils from boarding schools with psychophysical development issues, orphaned children left without parental care were rehabilitated. In total, during the summer period, 1,750 orphaned children and 728 children with disabilities of varying degrees of health loss underwent rehabilitation without the accompaniment of legal representatives.

During the 2026 summer health improvement campaign, active work was carried out in profile camps and areas of activity. For the winners of republican and regional subject Olympiads, highly motivated students, a regional profile round-the-clock camp "Olimpiets" was organized (100 people). In all regions of the region, on the basis of general secondary and additional education institutions, work was organized in this direction. Traditionally, labor and rest camps were operating. A total of 154 such camps were organized, where 2,070 schoolchildren combined useful work and rest. The children worked on the sowing fields of the SPK, in the workshops of educational institutions, in state forest management institutions, and were engaged in landscaping. A special place in the organization of profile camps was occupied by educational and health-improving camps of a military-patriotic profile.

First and foremost, increased interest is aroused by camps based on military units, divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the Ministry of Emergency Situations. Such camps were organized in all regions. Over the summer, 2,693 people visited 72 such camps.

In the health-improving camps, conditions were created for the safe stay, preservation, and strengthening of children's health, formation of patriotism, and development of creative and intellectual potential of the individual.

In all camps, actions, team events, and flash mobs dedicated to the Year of the Belarusian Woman were held, which were reflected in the implemented projects, contests, and events. In the camps, events were held as part of the information and education campaign "Step to Success", aimed at forming civic and patriotic consciousness. Guests told the children about their personal and professional development, about how to achieve success in life, and how to build their own development trajectory.

The loading of stationary health-improving camps during the summer period was 98.9% of the existing capacity. The organized camps during the summer of 2026 made it possible to satisfy all requests from those who wanted to undergo health improvement in camps of various types and in full.
