Over 300,000 sqm of housing has been put into operation in the Mogilev region in 9 months of 2026, which accounts for nearly 77% of the annual target. This was reported by the Architecture and Construction Committee of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee.

In total, 300,878 square meters of housing has been put into operation in the Mogilev region, which accounts for 76.9% of the annual target. Of these, multi-apartment residential buildings by state order - 42,118 square meters, individual housing construction - 144,185 square meters, noted the committee.

A significant part of the volumes is devoted to rental housing. From January to September 2026, 1,359 such apartments with a total area of 79,353 sqm were built, which allowed to exceed the achieved target by 1.5 times.

Great attention is paid to providing housing for citizens registered as in need of improving living conditions. For this category of population, 119.1 thousand sqm of housing was put into operation - 25% more than in a similar period last year. 11.4 thousand sqm were built for multi-child families. At the same time, citizens can choose the real estate format (apartment or individual residential house) using state support measures, including preferential lending and maternity capital.

Construction is proceeding at active rates in all districts of the Mogilev region. The committee emphasized that the tasks set for all types of housing construction will be fully completed by the end of the year.
