In the modern agricultural sector, purchasing high‑technology equipment and digitalization are only half of the success. The main factor of stability remains people. Attracting a college or university graduate to a rural area is a feasible task, but keeping them after they have worked there can sometimes be difficult. The best motivation for young people to work well and settle in the enterprise is a combination of developed infrastructure, decent wages, and domestic comfort.
In our district, all agricultural enterprises strive to create comfortable working conditions for young specialists. A prime example is the KSUP “Plemennyi Zavod Zakozelskiy.” The management of the enterprise, led by director Sergey Velesik, focuses on a comprehensive approach to adapting new personnel. In addition to a stable salary, young staff receive substantial allowances. For instance, young specialists are entitled to a one‑time financial aid of up to 10 basic units. The enterprise actively assists newly arrived employees with setting up their household and accommodation, because management understands that proper rest after responsible work directly affects productivity.
– For out‑of‑town young specialists who arrived this year for their first job, all necessary conditions have been created. Before the specialists arrived, a quality renovation of houses in the agrarian town of Vulka Radovetskaya and in the village of Perkovichi was carried out. One of the houses is equipped with gas heating, the other – electric, – explained the chairwoman of the primary organization of the KSUP “Plemennyy Zavod Zakozel’skiy” Natalia Sakovich. – The estate also cares about young families. Thus, a young couple of zoovet specialists rents housing, the rent of which is compensated by the KSUP “Plemennyy Zavod Zakozel’skiy”. In order that newly hired employees do not spend energy and money on setting up a house, we have provided them with everything necessary for comfortable living from the first day of employment: new modern kitchen sets, cabinets, beds, automatic washing machines have been purchased. The management of the estate is confident that decent living conditions will become an excellent incentive for retaining young people in the workplace.
