As Kirill Ilyin, deputy head of the district executive committee's agriculture and food department, told the newspaper "Novy Den", by the morning of October 5, 14,600 hectares had been sown, or 78% of the target plan.

The work has already been completed by Rogachyov MKK-Service, the Papornoye-Agro branch of BMZ and the SPU Antonovka-Agro are close to finishing. In parallel, corn harvesting continues: for silage, the "queen of the fields" has been mowed from 12,819 hectares (72%), which allowed the preparation of 184,398 tons of green mass (66% of the plan). In this direction, harvesting has been completed by JSC Sverdlovsky and SPU Antonovka-Agro.

Also, corn threshing for grain is underway – 377 hectares have been harvested, or 11%. Moreover, district farmers are harvesting soybeans – 180 hectares have been processed, which is 45% of the area.
