The beet season is open
Farmers of Stolin District have joined in carrying out an important task of the field season: the sugar beet harvest. The district entered the list of the first regions of Brest Oblast to begin harvesting this industrial crop.
The crop harvested from Stolin fields will be sent for processing to OAO "Zhabinka Sugar Plant." The launch of production at the enterprise is scheduled for September 5.
Contribution to food security
High-quality organization of harvesting operations and strict adherence to technology will allow the district's farmers to make a significant contribution to providing the processing industry with raw materials and filling the consumer market with domestic products.
What does this mean for the region?
Providing the sugar plant with raw materials for the timely launch of production.
Support for the processing industry of Belarus.
Filling the domestic market with locally produced goods.
