From 19 to 25 October 2026, the state institution “State Energy and Gas Supervision” together with the State Enterprise “Belenergo” and the State Enterprise “Beltopgaz” is conducting a large‑scale campaign aimed at the safe use of electrical, heating installations and gas‑using equipment during the autumn‑winter period, “Safety Out of Season”.

With the onset of the autumn‑winter period, the load on energy and gas systems traditionally increases. The main objectives of the campaign are to raise the safety level of the population and organization employees when operating electrical, heating installations and gas‑using equipment during the autumn‑winter period, and to prevent accidents, fires, emergency situations, incidents of electric shock and carbon monoxide poisoning.

Key objectives of the campaign:

  1. Increase awareness: inform citizens about the key requirements for the safe operation of electrical installations, household heating equipment, and gas appliances.
  2. Targeted prevention: strengthen preventive work with business entities that have facilities with round‑the‑clock and mass occupancy of people.
  3. Cultivating culture: instill in society the skills of conscious and safe behavior when using energy resources.

The program of events is aimed at the widest possible audience – from schoolchildren to enterprise managers. In the country’s settlements, training zones will be set up, and engaging sessions with schoolchildren will take place in educational institutions.

Experts will share practical advice on how to properly distribute load in the home network, why to install a residual‑current device (RCD), the algorithm and frequency for checking and cleaning smoke and ventilation ducts,
