The police of Gomel region uncovered a fact of theft in the agro-industrial complex, reports the Telegram channel "Sozhsky Forward Post".

During active agricultural work, law enforcement agencies of the Gomel region are operating in an intensified mode. The fight against mismanagement and the protection of state property are under constant control of the officers of the Economic Security Department (BEP) and mobile groups.

During inspection activities, the police continue to uncover facts of misappropriation of entrusted property and systematic draining of diesel fuel from assigned equipment. Based on the inspection materials, another series of criminal cases has been initiated.

In the Dobrush and Kalinkovichi districts, BEP officers stopped facts of theft of dyed fuel by employees of local enterprises. The men were draining diesel fuel from the state equipment entrusted to them. In total, two employees stole 540 liters of diesel fuel, causing damage to the enterprises exceeding 1200 Belarusian rubles.

In the Rechitsa district, an enterprise employee, while performing work on applying fertilizers to fields, stole 319 liters of diesel fuel worth almost 800 rubles.

In the Rogachev district, an employee also stole 220 liters of the enterprise's diesel fuel worth more than 500 rubles.
