Agricultural enterprises in Pinsk district have taken up creative work after completing the harvest campaign, following tradition. They were prompted by the annual review-competition of straw figures. So, at the end of August, art objects made from straw bales and rolls, natural materials, and other decorative elements appeared along the main republican highways.

The organizers are the department of ideological work and youth affairs of the Pinsk district executive committee and the district trade union of agricultural workers, who will announce the names of the winners as early as next week.

Fifteen farms expressed their desire to take part in the competition. A total of five categories have been announced, with three prize positions in each. All participants will receive monetary rewards, the amount of which is being kept strictly secret for now. According to the chairman of the district trade union organization of agricultural workers, Alexander Bogdan, the review-competition reaches a higher level every year, and the creativity of the farmers is off the charts. It is impossible to drive past the unusual straw compositions — photographs and videos of the installations from the fields of Pinsk region have flooded social networks.
