The State Control Committee of the Minsk Region inspected the operations of a processing workshop in the Minsk district. Numerous serious violations of sanitary and epidemiological legislation were identified.
It was established that the workshop's premises and the equipment used were not kept clean, and production control was not carried out – laboratory test protocols for the produced meat products were missing.
Moreover, at the time of the inspection the workshop had been shut down for several hours due to a power outage. However, the absence of temperature monitoring devices in the refrigeration chambers (which must be installed) made it impossible to determine at what temperature the raw materials and products were stored.
As a result of the inspection, a requirement was issued to suspend production and the sale of products in the processing workshop, and the issuance of veterinary documents for products and animal‑origin raw materials supplied to this business entity was also suspended.
