In order to strengthen control over compliance with legislation in the field of transport activities by carriers when performing international road transport, the Gomel Region branch of the Transport Inspectorate is conducting the control event "Work and Rest Regime" until October 31.

This comprehensive work includes monitoring, prevention, and additional informing of carriers about the requirements of the European Agreement concerning the work of crews of vehicles engaged in international road transport, concluded in Geneva on July 1, 1970.

In case of non-observance by drivers of such vehicles of the established work and rest regime, the guilty persons are held administratively liable.
