The Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee, Ivan Krupko, and the Assistant to the President - Inspector for the Gomel Region, Yuri Valevaty, took part in a seminar held at the new milking facility "Syrod" at the "Druzhba-Avtyuki" farm.

The goal was the construction of livestock facilities, including using the farm's own resources.

Construction of the farm began in March 2025 and opened in October of the current year. The project included not only the construction of necessary facilities for cattle but also the creation of supporting engineering infrastructure.

Thanks to work done using the farm's own resources, it was possible to save 14.5 million rubles. The agricultural enterprise built a calf shed, installed a roof, created silage and hay trenches for feed storage, installed milking equipment, and more.

The governor instructed the seminar participants to study in detail the facilities under construction and planned in the districts, to think through each stage of work that can be done using the farm's own resources, thereby reducing the final cost.

The seminar was attended by chairmen of district executive committees, heads of agricultural departments, heads of construction organizations, and agricultural enterprises where the construction of milking facilities is planned.

Yury Bozhenkov, director of the "Slobodskoye named after Lenin" farm in the Mazyr district, shared with journalists that they also use the farm's own resources method when building livestock facilities.

"The seminar at the "Syrod" milking facility was informative and useful. We will apply the experience gained in our work," the head said.

As part of the working visit to the Kalinkovichi district, Governor Ivan Krupko visited the "Domianovichi Mushroom Valley" enterprise, managed by the "Druzhba-Avtyuki" agricultural cooperative, and familiarized himself with production.

The manager spoke about the introduction of new mushroom production methods, plans to increase volumes, and the purchase of necessary equipment and registration of food products.

"Any economic project must generate profit, not just exist formally. If you understand that a direction is promising, develop it. Think about what you can do yourselves, we will lend a helping hand," emphasized the Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee.
