Under the guidance of E. A. Petrovich, 3 candidate dissertations were defended. He is the author and co-author of more than 300 scientific publications, including 86 works published in countries of the near and far abroad.

The outstanding merits of the scientist have been noted by numerous high awards:

• Medal "For Valiant Labor in Commemoration of the 100th Anniversary of the Birth of V. I. Lenin",
• Honorable diploma of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Belarus (1995),
• Honorable diploma of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus (1999),
• Honorable diploma of the National Academy of Sciences (2005 and 2009),
• Honorable diplomas of a number of ministries of the Republic of Belarus,
• The badge of honor "Distinguished Actor of Education of the Republic of Belarus",
• A gratitude letter from the President of the Republic of Belarus (2009).

Hard work, high qualification, and principled approach made Eduard Alexandrovich an indispensable worker of the department, faculty, institute, and academy, earning him unchallenged authority and deep respect from colleagues and students.

The bright memory of the remarkable person, scientist, teacher, and mentor will forever be preserved in our hearts, in the history of the academy, and in the deeds of his numerous students.
