Agricultural organizations in Klimovshchina are harvesting corn for silage. Thus, at KSUPPoloshkovo, about 67 percent of the area sown with this valuable crop has been harvested.

As chief agronomist of the agricultural enterprise Elena Timoshenko explained, a mechanized detachment has been created that carries out all the work in a complex. At the KVK, Vladislav Belyayev is engaged in mowing and chopping the corn. The green mass is hauled to the trenches by Vasily Kozlov, Nikolai Tolkachyov, Sergey Tsygankov, and Yegor Pastushkov. The compaction of the corn on the Amkodore is being handled by Artem Belyayev.

— Five trenches have already been laid, — the specialist clarifies. — The next, sixth, is located near the farm in Krasovka. Its capacity is about a thousand tons of corn silage.
