Today, for young specialists of Gomel enterprises and organizations, the workday did not begin in offices and production workshops. Their route started at Revolt Square, where the youth paid tribute to those thanks to whom today's generation has the opportunity to study, work, and build the future.

Young specialists laid flowers at the monument to the liberator soldiers. Then they honored the memory of the victims of the genocide of the Belarusian people at the memorial sign "Tree of Life." The memorial ceremony route also included laying flowers at the monument to Marshal of the Soviet Union Konstantin Rokossovsky.

But Revolt Square became for the participants not only a place of the memorial ceremony. Tour guide Anastasia conducted a tour for the young specialists, recounting the history of this significant place for Gomel. Participants learned how the square was formed, what events are linked to its history, and why exactly here today stand monuments reminding of the city's wartime past.

The conversation about history turned out to be a good start to an intensive day. From memory — to today's Gomel, from heroic past — to modern enterprises and opportunities of the city.

The next stop is the Spartak confectionery factory. Young specialists will get to see the enterprise from inside, familiarize themselves with its production capacities, technological processes, and the team of one of the leading enterprises in the confectionery industry.

For recent graduates, this is an opportunity to see industrial Gomel not from the outside. Here there are no longer just pictures in textbooks and lines in a résumé. Here people work, products are created, production decisions are made, and each day the city's economy is shaped.

But getting acquainted with Gomel's opportunities will not end there. After the tour of Spartak, the young specialists will go to the Palace of Water Sports. There they will get to know the sporting side of Gomel, its infrastructure, and opportunities for physical culture and sports.

Thus, over the course of one day, participants gradually form a comprehensive picture of the city: its history, industrial potential, sports infrastructure, and opportunities for professional and personal development of youth.

The final part of the program will be a meeting with the leadership of Gomel. The focus will be on state policy in the field of supporting young specialists in Belarus, the first steps of graduates into the workforce, professional development, and issues that arise among young people at the beginning of their independent working careers. The format of the meeting involves an open dialogue. Young specialists will be able to ask the city's leadership their concerns and receive answers directly from representatives of the city administration.
