The anniversary celebration took place at the N.F. Sokolovsky Art College, and the venue was chosen deliberately. Here, already two hundred years ago, workers of this unique enterprise have been skillfully decorating their native city with their own hands.

This is colossal daily labor of several generations of true masters of their craft: agronomists, landscape designers, green construction workers who create an unprecedented appearance of Gomel with love and dedication.

On the commemorative day of the anniversary, a new kind tradition was born here – the book of honors was opened for the state enterprise "Red Spike". The right to inscribe the first name was provided by the deputy general director of the state union "Housing-Communal Economy of Gomel Region" Alexander Lyashenko. During the solemn ceremony he awarded an honorary certificate to First Deputy Director Sergey Bogolubsky, who has been faithfully working for the benefit of the regional center for the past two decades.
