At a briefing in the regional executive committee, journalists from regional media spoke with Yulia Litvin, Deputy Head of the Inspection of the Ministry of Taxes and Duties of the Republic of Belarus for the Gomel Region.

As noted, taxpayers are individuals who own residential real estate, land plots, and vehicles. They must pay property taxes for the previous year no later than November 16, 2026.

– All citizens should have already received notices for property tax payments, – emphasized Yulia Litvin. – If, for some reason, the notice did not reach an individual, for example, a citizen resides outside their place of registration, they can obtain a copy of the notice by contacting any tax authority. One can also register a personal account on the tax authorities' portal and generate the notice themselves.

By the way, tax authorities do not send notices for payment of rent to individuals.
