At the Palace of Culture of OJSC Gomselmash, a grand and heartfelt celebration was held, dedicated to the 96th anniversary of the enterprise's founding, which gathered veterans, production pioneers, labor dynasties, and numerous guests in the festive hall. For them, the plant had become not just a workplace, but a true meaning of life.

The solemn evening at the Palace of Culture began with bright concert numbers that set a high emotional tone for the entire celebration, after which the floor was given to the management. Opening the festive concert, General Director of OJSC Gomselmash Vitaly Sheleg warmly thanked the entire multi‑thousand workforce for their dedication to the cause, high professionalism, and enormous personal contribution of each employee to the development of domestic industry:

– For me, Gomselmash is rightfully an undisputed leader of the machine‑building industry of our country, – noted Vitaly Sheleg in his speech. – When we talk about our enterprise at various levels, we proudly emphasize that the Gomselmash combine is a true master of the fields. And this is the pure truth, because each of our machines, moving toward its finish on the conveyor and gathering everything that the toilers of the land so strive to obtain, is created with the mind, talent, and golden hands of our workers. We are confidently approaching our centenary anniversary, and over the past decades the collective has experienced different times – there were rapid rises and difficult periods

The history of the legendary giant began on October 15, 1930, when the foundry shop of the plant produced its first melt. Over nearly a century, Gomselmash has undergone a grand evolution: from modest workshops of the first five-year plans to one of the world's leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery. In the pre-war years, the enterprise completely freed the country from importing dozens of types of feed production machines, and during the difficult years of the Great Patriotic War, the plant heroically worked in evacuation in the Urals, producing essential products for the front. In peacetime, Gomel machine builders were the first in the country to create the legendary self-propelled forage harvester KSK-100, and in the late 1990s they successfully mastered the production of domestic grain harvesters under the brand 'Palesse'. Today, the holding's high-performance equipment is exported to dozens of countries near and far, reliably ensuring food security and gaining authority on international markets.

The festive atmosphere in the hall was built on deep respect for working people and the glorious traditions of generational continuity, which are carefully preserved at the enterprise. The plant treats veterans with great care: today, the lists of those awaiting the honorary title of Veteran of Gomselmash include about 1,800 people, a large proportion of whom are women, whose constructive contribution to the overall victories of plant management and workshops is hard to overestimate. A special example of exemplary devotion to the native enterprise is the plant's record holder – a person who has continuously worked at the same workplace for 51 years, proving by example true service to the chosen cause.

On the main stage, labor veterans whose fates are inseparably linked with the history of the giant were remembered. Zoya Kravtsova, lead engineer of the tool management, came to the plant exactly 45 years ago and remembers every stage of its transformation.

– When I came to the plant as a young girl, everything around was perceived completely differently, – the woman shared her memories. – Over these decades, before my eyes everything changed: new span workshops were built, equipment was improved, factory streets, alleys and all surrounding infrastructure were transformed. Of course, on the production path there were various moments – there were tough shifts and easy days, but I never even thought about leaving my native enterprise. Here I spent my best young and mature years, here I met my destiny, created a family, got an apartment, raised children and waited for grandchildren, who today also continue to work at the plant. Looking at how our Palace of Culture has become nicer and the whole factory district has transformed, I feel an overwhelming heart feeling of pride and sincerely rejoice every new morning,
