Starting October 1, the rules for registration in the electronic queue at the border will change, BELTA was informed by the RUE "Beltamozhservice."

"Amendments to the public offer for the provision of services for registration in the electronic queue system (EQS) and to the procedure for registration in the EQS will come into force. The innovations concern individuals — customers of the service. The main change is a limitation on the term of the contract. From now on, it will be 30 calendar days from the date of payment," the enterprise said.

Within this period, the customer of the service must take one of the following actions: present the vehicle specified in the payment system at the time of payment in the waiting zone; complete in full the procedure for online registration of the vehicle through a personal account for online registrations in the EQS; apply to "Beltamozhservice" with a request for a refund of funds in the established procedure before the expiration of the contract term.

"A request for a refund can be submitted within 30 calendar days from the moment of payment for the service. The refund procedure is regulated by clause 18 of the registration procedure. The updated version of the document comes into force on October 1 and will be posted on the official website," the enterprise explained.

In certain cases, the registration service is considered rendered and subject to payment, and the funds are not subject to refund to the customer. These include: inability to fulfill the offer (contract) arising through the fault of the customer, and expiration of the contract term; refusal by the customer of the service after registration of the vehicle and expiration of the contract term; cancellation of registration (revocation of registration) of the vehicle after untimely entry/exit of the vehicle from the waiting zone; untimely arrival of the vehicle at the checkpoint from the waiting zone and expiration of the contract term.
