In Belarus, the amount of allowances for preschool education teachers and employees of budgetary organizations has been revised. This is provided for by the Ministry of Education's decree of September 28, 2026, No. 166, which was published on the National Legal Internet Portal.

Thus, from September 1, the volume of funds for allowances for the specifics of professional activity for managers and specialists of the Academy of Education increased from 50% to 180% of the salary; 150% of salary amounts – for a similar allowance for managers and specialists of the National Center for Additional Education of Children and Youth.

From October 1 of the current year, the volume of allocated funds for allowances for the nature of work for education system budget employees has increased. The innovation concerns employees holding positions common to all sectors of the economy, dormitory and regime supervisors, secretaries of academic departments, and workers. The payment amount has been increased to 90–130% of salary amounts (previously it was 50–110%).

From January 1, 2027, the allowance for work in the industry for preschool educators will increase to up to 70% of the salary (currently it is 55% of the salary), and for preschool educator assistants the same allowance will increase from 30% to 45% of the salary.

From that date, a 30% of salary allowance is introduced for additional education teachers.
