The agrarian sector of Belarus has harvested 4 million 67 thousand tonnes of sugar beet. This was reported by BELTA to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

The average yield was 492 kg/ha, with a sugar content of 17 %.

The root crop was harvested from an area of 83 thousand hectares, which represents 76 % of the plan of 109 thousand hectares.

• in Brest region — 725 thousand tonnes
• in Mogilev region — 408 thousand tonnes
• in Gomel region — 37 thousand tonnes
• in Vitebsk region — 24 thousand tonnes

At the sugar‑beet collection points, 78 % of the root crop — 3 million 187 thousand tonnes — was transported. Under the state order, 2 million 411 thousand tonnes were supplied (72 % of the plan).
