The corresponding decision was adopted by a resolution of the Council of Ministers dated September 24, 2026, No. 487, the government press service reported.

Imports of apples originating from states that are not members of the Eurasian Economic Union will be carried out on the basis of one‑time licenses issued by the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) in coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food (Minselekhozprod).

The resolution has been adopted to ensure the domestic market is fully supplied with locally produced apples during the off‑season, based on the high harvest.
