In Belarus, licensing of apple imports has been introduced for six months, the government press service reported. The decision was adopted by a resolution of the Council of Ministers dated September 24, 2026, No. 487.

Apples coming from countries that are not members of the EAEU will be imported under single-use licenses. These will be issued by the MART after coordination with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.

This measure is aimed at fully supplying the domestic market with locally produced apples during the off‑season, taking into account the high harvest.
