Belarus is implementing mandatory transmission of passenger data for international bus routes into a unified state system, reports Myfin citing a decree from the Ministry of Transport.
Starting October 1, 2027, carriers operating international routes will be obliged to send information about passengers to the unified state ticket‑sales information system. The data to be transmitted include: full name, gender, date of birth, citizenship, type and number of the document used to purchase the ticket.
Border service authorities and other state bodies engaged in operational and investigative activities will be able to receive this information.
