In Belarus, the size of allowances for preschool education teachers and employees of budgetary organizations has been revised. This is stipulated by the Decree of the Ministry of Education dated September 28, 2026, No. 166, which was published on the National Legal Internet Portal.

Thus, as of September 1, the amount of funds for allowances for the specifics of professional activity for managers and specialists of the Education Academy increased from 50% to 180% of the salary; 150% of salary amounts – for a similar allowance for managers and specialists of the National Center for Additional Education of Children and Youth.

As of October 1 of the current year, the amount of funds allocated for allowances for the nature of work for education system budget employees has increased. The innovation concerns employees holding positions common to all sectors of the economy, dormitory and regime supervisors, secretaries of academic departments, and workers. The payment amount has been increased to 90–130% of salary amounts (previously it was 50–110%).

As of January 1, 2027, the allowance for work in the industry for preschool educators will increase to up to 70% of the salary (currently it is 55% of the salary), and for preschool educator assistants this same allowance will increase from 30% to 45% of the salary.

As of that date, a 30% of salary allowance is being introduced for additional education teachers.
