The Council of Ministers approved a list of urban planning projects by a resolution dated October 12, 2026, No. 513. The document was published on the National Legal Internet Portal, reports gp.by.

For the Gomel region, two projects have been included in the list:

• scheme of comprehensive territorial organization of Gomel region;
• scheme of comprehensive territorial organization of Vetchovsky district.

In the Government Press Service it was noted that the list of urban planning projects is approved by the Supreme Council annually based on proposals from regional administrations.

For comparison, projects from other regions were also included in the list:

• Brest region — schemes of comprehensive territorial organization of Brest region and Pinsk district;
• Vitebsk region — schemes of comprehensive territorial organization of Vitebsk region and Rosson District;
• Grodno region — scheme of comprehensive territorial organization of Grodno region and general plan of Grodno;
• Minsk region — scheme of comprehensive territorial organization of Minsk region, general plans of Zhodino and recreation zone "Vileyka";
• Mogilov region — scheme of comprehensive territorial organization of Mogilov region and general plan of Bobruisk.
