How State Financial Support Helps Businesses Carry Out Investment Projects in the Mogilev Region

Slavgorod.by April 10, 2026 12:51 photo Active work to provide financial assistance to business entities continues in the Mogilev Region as part of the State Program "Sustainable Entrepreneurship." Natalya Rechitskaya, Head of the Entrepreneurship Department of the Economy Committee of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, shared interim results and support mechanisms with sb.by.

According to the expert, state assistance is provided to enterprises for the implementation of significant investment projects. The main instruments here are subsidies to reimburse part of the interest on bank loans, as well as the provision of preferential loans at the expense of the regional budget.

"Over 2021–2025, financial support was provided to 43 investment projects. The total amount of allocated funds amounted to 9.9 million rubles. These resources allowed businesses to substantially upgrade their material and technical base. Eight capital structures became the property of enterprises, 44 units of vehicles and special equipment were purchased, as well as more than 50 units of industrial equipment," noted Natalya Rechitskaya.

The interviewee emphasized the broad geographic and sectoral diversification of state support recipients. Applications came not only from enterprises in Mogilev and Bobruisk, but also from representatives of the Bykhov, Gorki, Kirov, Kostyukovichi, Mogilev, Chaussy, and Shklov districts.

The range of activities of the organizations covers key sectors of the economy — from agriculture and the food industry to woodworking, leather production, medicine, and transport services. Systematic work in this area makes it possible to ensure sustainable development of the private sector and strengthen the economic potential of the Mogilev Region.
