How OOO "Mazolovskoye" Achieved High Results in Harvest Collection
For every ton of grain there are not only hectares and machinery. Behind them lies people, their knowledge, experience, responsibility, and daily labor. At OOO "Mazolovskoye," the harvesting operation has once again shown: high results are born where everyone works for the common cause.
According to the results of the harvesting campaign, OOO "Mazolovskoye" took third place in total grain production (excluding corn). A total of 9,608 tons of grain were sent to the farm's granaries. This figure reflects the months of intense work by all farmers.
From Combine to Soil Preparation
Senior combine operator Viktor Dubykovsky made a significant contribution to the overall result. Working on the KZS-12A1 grain harvester, he harvested 1,513 conditional tons of grain and took first place in district competitions among senior combine operators.
For the combine operator, the harvesting period is special. There is no room for haste, yet relaxation is also impossible. One must feel the machine, monitor its operation, take into account the condition of the fields, grain quality, and weather conditions.
But the harvest is over—the mechanizer's work continues. Viktor Dubykovsky moved from the combine to a tractor and began preparing the soil. Currently, he is working at the Laryanovo site, performing operations on an MTZ-3522 tractor.
The Harvest Begins with a Competent Approach
While mechanizers work in the field, chief agronomist Nikolai Polugodkov ensures that all work proceeds according to plan. It is necessary to think ahead about when to head north, how to care for the crops, and at what times to harvest. Additionally, one must consider weather, soil conditions, and equipment availability.
"I lead all work in crop science, deal with questions of improving soil fertility and achieving high yields in the enterprise," says Nikolai Polugodkov.
The numbers confirm the success of this work. The grain and legume yield calculated per hectare of sown area amounted to 92.3 kilograms. According to the district competition among chief agronomists of agricultural organizations, Nikolai Polugodkov took third place.
To Prevent Equipment Failure
Even an experienced mechanizer cannot perform his work without a reliable machine. And if equipment breaks down at the height of the season, time cannot be lost. Therefore, much depends on the enterprise on the chief engineer Anton Khataliev.
At JSC Mazolovskoye he has been working since 1993. Years of experience and a responsible attitude to his work have paid off: Anton Khatulev took first place in the district competition among chief engineers of agricultural organizations.
— Together with the agronomist we organize work, ensure the release of equipment, engage in repairs in the workshop and prepare machines for spring sowing, and then for the harvesting campaign, — Anton Khatulev explains.
However, it is impossible to foresee everything in advance. Sometimes a breakdown occurs right in the field. Then it is important to quickly figure out what happened and decide how to get the machine back to work.
In such cases, repair crews go to the site with welding equipment if necessary. More serious malfunctions are dealt with in the workshop.
In the current harvesting campaign, the seasonal output per conditional grain combine in the farm amounted to 955.6 tonnes. Behind the result are those who worked at the wheel, those who monitored the machines' serviceability, and those who organized work in the field.
Each performs his part of the common cause. And only when all links work together can the farm expect a good result.
