Planning to return from Egypt and want to take tobacco products with you? Mogilev Customs reminds you of the duty-free import regulations in force in the Republic of Belarus.

Individuals are allowed to import without paying duties:

  • no more than 200 cigarettes;
  • or up to 50 cigars (cigarillos);
  • or no more than 200 sticks (products with heated tobacco);
  • or up to 250 grams of tobacco.

It is also permitted to import assorted products — for example, part cigarettes, part sticks. The main condition: the total weight of tobacco products must not exceed 250 grams.

Important: tobacco products may be imported only by persons aged 18 or over.

If the limits are exceeded, the goods are no longer considered for personal use. For the excess amount, customs declaration is required — you must submit a goods declaration and pay the corresponding customs duties.
