This is a true gift for all residents of our district and all of Gomel Region!

A new automobile bridge on the R-30 highway Gomel–Vetka–Checherisk–Yamnoye stretching 537.41 meters has been officially handed over to operation.

The old bridge has long been unable to cope with modern loads. The construction of a new object from concrete and metal is a vital necessity for the transport artery of the district. The bridge fundamentally changes the dynamics of life in the city and the district, connecting us reliably with Gomel and opening colossal opportunities for transit transport heading further - to the Russian Federation.

The main sensation: the completion of this large construction history was planned only for 2027. However, our bridge builders and road services have made a real labor feat and handed over the most important strategic object ahead of schedule!

Honored guests participated in the solemn ceremony:

• Chairman of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee Ivan Krupko;
• Chairman of the Vetovsky district executive committee Roman Sergun;
• General Director of RUP "Gomelavtodor" Denis Yasko and other official persons.

Within the framework of the opening, the best builders and designers received deserved awards - Gifts of the Gomel Regional Executive Committee and Awards of the Vetovsky district executive committee for many years of conscientious work and significant personal contribution to the construction of the object.
