The Banking Processing Center will conduct technical work on September 25. As a result, holders of cards from some Belarusian banks may experience brief disruptions in service.

On September 22, "Kobrinsky Vestnik" reported that the work on the data transmission network equipment is scheduled for Friday from 2:00 to 6:30.

Where disruptions are possible

During the specified period, disruptions may occur in the operation of:

bank cards; trade and service organizations; cash dispensing points; ATMs and other self-service devices; contact centers.

The processing center clarified that only brief interruptions in service are possible.

Which banks may be affected by the restrictions

The Banking Processing Center serves a number of major banks in Belarus, including:

Belarusbank, Belagroprombank, BSB-Bank, Paritetbank, Sber Bank, Belinvestbank, MTBank, Bank Dabrabyt, Belgasprombank, Bank BelVEB, Bank VTB (Belarus), and Alfa-Bank.
