Currently, Georgia accounts for a small share of the region's foreign trade turnover, but both sides see serious potential in this direction. Our region already supplies woodworking products, dairy and meat goods, and several other items to the Georgian market, but the volumes of these supplies are planned to be increased.

Tourism could become an important point of contact. The parties discussed in detail options for developing tourism infrastructure and the possible involvement of Georgian partners in specialized projects in the Grodno region. Local authorities hope to adopt Georgia's successful experience in creating tourist clusters and adapt it to the specifics of our region.

Investment interest from Georgian business is forming, and this direction has excellent prospects. Currently, six enterprises with Georgian capital are registered in the Grodno region, successfully operating in the public catering and trade sectors. Grodno region is ready to offer foreign businesses a whole range of new promising proposals for capital investment and the creation of joint productions.

At the meeting with the Georgian diplomat, specific regional proposals were discussed for developing direct contacts between enterprises and strengthening ties at the city level. Such dialogue helps local businesses find reliable partners and build sustainable foreign economic relations.
