Grain delivery under state order in Belarus fulfilled at 94%

According to operational data as of August 31, agricultural organizations and peasant farms have harvested 9,095 thousand tons of grain crops including rapeseed. Breakdown by regions: Minsk region — 2,406 thousand tons, Grodno region — 1,832 thousand tons, Brest region — 1,664 thousand tons, Mogilev region — 1,184 thousand tons, Gomel region — 1,083 thousand tons, Vitebsk region — 926 thousand tons.

Crops for grain (including rapeseed, excluding corn) have been harvested from 99% of the area.

Delivered under the state order: food grain — 624 thousand tons (94% of the planned 663 thousand tons), malting barley — 92 thousand tons (107% of the planned 86 thousand tons).

Sugar beet has been harvested from 8% of the area, amounting to over 8 thousand hectares (target — 109 thousand hectares). 346 thousand tons of root crops have been dug up with an average yield of 406 centners per hectare. Breakdown by regions: Minsk region — 202 thousand tons, Grodno region — 118 thousand tons, Mogilev region — 25 thousand tons. Regions are harvesting beet at a pace exceeding last year's.

Corn for silage and green fodder has been harvested from 7% of the area.

Grass has been mown for the second cut on 901 thousand hectares, which amounts to 89% of the target of 1,010 thousand hectares.

553 thousand tons of hay have been prepared — 77% of the target, silage — 1,338 thousand tons (6%), haylage — 12,165 thousand tons (85%). Grass fodder prepared totals 4,058 thousand tons of feed units (40%).

The availability of mineral fertilizers (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) for winter sowing stands at 264 thousand tons of active ingredient, which amounts to 153% of the target.
