Administrator September 2, 2026 13:00 If you study job vacancies, you will find that the largest number of them falls on a wide range of working specialties in construction, industry, agriculture and transport, as well as education, healthcare and scientific activity. As for salary offers, they depend on the employer's desire to get a specialist with the necessary competencies, practical skills, work experience and the desire to work and constantly improve their qualifications.

Working specialties

If we consider industry, our enterprises will be glad to see fitters, turners, milling machine operators, CNC machine operators, setters, electricians, mechanics and forklift drivers. Over the past year, wages in industry increased by 15%.

Representatives of some working specialties, which is very important, are needed not only in the manufacturing sector, but also in trade, transport, education, healthcare and agriculture. Approximately 70% of blue-collar vacancies apply to these industries. There is nothing surprising about this, because no retail outlet, educational institution or healthcare facility can do without workers for the comprehensive maintenance of buildings and structures, plumbers or electricians.

Separately, we should focus on construction. Here there is a steady demand for bricklayers, tile setters, painters, concrete workers, assemblers, plasterers, welders, electricians, foremen and construction machinery operators. The labor market offers vacancies with salaries for construction specialists from 4 thousand rubles. Overall, in the industry, wages increased by 26.5% in 2025. Moreover, in construction, more than anywhere else, the prospect of upgrading one's rank and career growth is real. After completing college by correspondence, it is quite realistic to count on positions of team leader, foreman or site supervisor.

Agricultural enterprises and peasant farms are waiting for general-purpose tractor drivers, operators of livestock complexes and machine milking operators. In recent years, wages in the industry have grown by almost 30%, and you can get a working specialty in agriculture through a wide network of agricultural colleges.

Where specialists with higher education are needed

Agricultural enterprises continue to face a shortage of agronomists, veterinarians, livestock engineers, mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and processing industry technologists. Many agricultural production cooperatives, in addition to decent salaries, offer housing, which is quite important for many specialists.

Industry needs engineers and technologists, who are offered decent working conditions and salaries.

In education, healthcare, and scientific research, the state provides workers in these fields with stable social guarantees and opportunities for professional growth. In 2025 alone, salaries increased by 19% in education, by 18% in social services and healthcare, and by 16.1% in professional, scientific, and technical activities.

Given that wages in Belarus are steadily rising, qualified workers in all fields can obtain stable employment and competitive income.
