Goretsky District has achieved excellent results in the harvesting of grain and legume crops, which it can be proud of, confidently developing and moving forward. This was stated by Sergei Savitsky, First Deputy Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, at the district holiday "Dozhinki".

According to him, positive dynamics are evident not only in crop farming, where the district traditionally shows good results, but also in livestock farming, indicating systematic and consistent work of the agricultural sector. In his speech, he paid special attention to the fact that Goretsky District holds special significance for the region, occupies an important place in its agricultural structure, and makes a substantial contribution to the overall result of Mogilev Region.

He read out the greeting address of the Chairman of the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee Anatoly Isachenko, addressed to the village workers, managers and specialists of the farms. In the governor's congratulation, words of sincere gratitude were heard for labor, professionalism and dedication to one's cause:– Your professionalism, endurance, love for your work and ability to work for results deserve the deepest respect. The harvest season is an exam of organization, unity and skill. And you have coped well with this responsible task, showing perseverance, discipline and loyalty to the cause of grain farming.

The address emphasized that the labor of agrarians is a reliable foundation for family well-being, district development, and the entire Mogilev Region.

Sergei Savitsky thanked everyone who contributed to the 2026 harvest campaign, and wished that the holiday "Dozhinki" would become a worthy culmination of intense labor, a day of well-deserved glory, joy and pride in the achieved results.

The First Deputy Chairman of the Regional Executive Committee reported that Gorketsky District took first place in the region as a result of the competition for achieving the best indicators in the development of the agro-industrial complex in the category “Production of long‑staple flax” and presented a first‑degree diploma to the Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Nikolai Orlyonko. First place among agricultural organizations in this category was taken by JSC “Gorkilen”. The award was accepted by Director Vitaly Yevtikhinovich. In sugar beet production, the winner among agricultural organizations in the region was the Gorketsky Variety Testing Station. A first‑degree diploma was presented to Director Ivan Marshalko. In the category “Best Mechanized Fodder Harvesting Teams”, third place was taken by the mechanized fodder harvesting team of JSC “Goretskoye”. The award was received by Director Vladimir Chernikov.

In the category “Best Workers Engaged in Agricultural Production”, among the teams of machine milking operators achieving the highest milk yields, a diploma was awarded to the team of JSC “Goretskoye” consisting of Tatyana Avramenko, Anzhela Pyrkina, Marina Ignatenko, and Yulia Velbovets. Among swine insemination technicians, the diploma was received by Yelena Denisova from the KSUP “Ovsyanka named after I.I. Melnik”. Among drivers of trucks achieving the greatest volume of work in tonne‑kilometres with a load capacity of up to 5 tonnes, the diploma was awarded to driver Alexander Romanov of SZAO “Gory”. Among mechanizers achieving the highest output of standard hectares on a conditional tractor, the diploma was received by mechanizer Alexander Novikov of the Agrocombina Gorki.
