In the Belarusian Trade and Economic University of Consumer Cooperatives, an Immersive Technologies Center is operating. The Telegram channel “Gomel. Officially” reports: “The center was opened on November 1, 2024, with the support of Belkoopsoyuz.” Here future logisticians and trade specialists learn the profession using virtual and augmented reality technologies. Instead of traditional teaching schemes, there are interactive 3D models of warehouses and stores. Students learn to assess warehouse occupancy, calculate its volume, and analyze product placement. The Center’s classes are integrated into the academic curriculum. Based on real enterprise materials, students develop solutions to optimize business processes and gain practical experience even while studying.
