Glussky Autopark No. 15: Moving Forward

image

When we say “Fleet No. 15,” we first think of modern, comfortable buses and powerful trucks with spacious bodies. We picture our bus station and the dispatcher’s voice announcing the departure of the next run, and car owners surely recall the diagnostic station where they bring their vehicles for inspection.

The Glushsky branch of Fleet No. 15, JSC “Mogilevoblavttrans,” is a company specializing in passenger and freight transport. Currently it has 14 trucks with capacities ranging from 20 to 30 tons, including a MAZ 30‑tonner purchased with leasing credits. The Mogilev bus fleet No. 1 has been transferred a MAZ 35440 tractor unit; a new 30‑ton semi‑trailer is planned for purchase in the fourth quarter of this year, and the procurement process is underway.

Fleet No. 15 has been and continues to actively participate in sowing and harvesting campaigns, helping the district’s agricultural organizations with fodder preparation. The company’s equipment transported all the grain to the Bobruisk Bread Products Plant under a state order. Overall, the volume of freight transported this year increased

The diagnostic station No. 144, located on the premises of the Auto Park, contributes to the company’s operations. It is a very important and in-demand structural unit, whose services are used not only by local residents but also by car enthusiasts from neighboring districts. From January to October of the current year, a technical inspection of 4,331 vehicles was carried out here.

This is somewhat lower than during the same period last year, but the decline is linked to the large number of newly purchased cars that do not require annual technical inspections, explains vehicle maintenance engineer Ivan Borisovich. He has been working at the service station for only a year and a half, and he forms a good tandem with the experienced worker Alexander Descheney, who has 20 years of experience at the diagnostic station.

The average salary of Auto Park employees for eight months was 2,300 rubles, an increase of 118 percent compared to the same period last year. Raising wages was one of the objectives set by the company’s management for the current year, and that goal has been achieved. The plans also included further work started in 2025 on improving the area and creating comfortable working conditions for employees. Therefore, this year cosmetic repairs of the administrative building and the repair workshop (inside and out) continue, new furniture and computer equipment have been purchased, a new tire‑mounting machine has been installed in the workshop, and at the diagnostic station a brake test stand from the LTK line has been installed.

The Auto Park staff is a blend of experience and youth: of the 65 employees, about half—33 people—have less than three years of tenure at the company, and only 10 of them were hired this year. However, there are also many seasoned automotive workers: those who have worked for 30 years—nine people—serve as examples of loyalty to the company and the team; those with 30 to 40 years—also nine people; and four people have more than 40 years of experience in the industry.

Having reached retirement age, they have earned the right to rest, but 17 employees of the enterprise remain on the job, and 50 people are members of its veterans' organization. Among the experienced truck drivers, the leading personnel specialist Lyudmila Lipskaya mentions Anatoly Chernousov (39 years of service at the enterprise), Viktor Deschenya (35 years), and Nikolay Tupitsa (27 years). The bus drivers with a long history of work are Alexander Pulenovich (47 years), Leonid Makhanko (43 years), Vladimir Shumsky (41 years), Alexander Yefimovich (38 years), Gennady Karpenkov (34 years), and Alexander Pigulevsky (27 years). Perhaps they are less experienced, but they do not yield to them in skill and responsibility - truck drivers Sergey Akulich, Alexander Bogdanovich, Vyacheslav Kudelko, Andrey Sidorovich, Ruslan Zhukovets, Oleg Tolstik, and bus drivers Alexander Poloznyak, Gennady Bubich, and Valery Kulinok. They have worked at the enterprise for several years, but have already demonstrated high professionalism and a conscientious attitude towards their work.

Not just a notable, but a vital division for the Autopark is the repair workshop. The work is headed by transport repair mechanic Alexander Artyomchik, along with him, the repair and maintenance of equipment are ensured by fuel equipment fitter Alexander Golovnev, tire and pneumatic coupling fitter Alexander Martinovich (who has been working at the enterprise for 37 years), electrician Roman Kostenko, car repair fitters Alexander Melnik (with 38 years of experience in the industry) and Valery Shumsky (with 39 years of experience), and turner Oleg Livanovich (who has been working here for 29 years). Many of them were previously included in the Honor Board of OAO Mogilevoblavtotrans.

The financial expression of all production processes is handled by the economics, accounting, and reporting department, which is headed by Natalia Semidochenko. The leading accountants working here are Tamara Ashuyko (her area of responsibility is salary calculation and taxes) and Tatyana Rusakovich (accounting for material values). The leading engineer for organizing transportation, Elena Yefimovich, who has been working in the organization for more than three and a half decades, has her own specific work and volume of work. She knows everything about the routes and schedules of Autopark-15's trucks and buses. Also working successfully in the transportation department is automobile transport dispatcher Svetlana Radkevich, who, along with Elena, was included in the Honor Board of OAO Mogilevoblavtotrans for her high professionalism. The work of storekeeper Diana Zhukovets and computer operator Maria Mikhailenok is no less responsible, requiring attention and accuracy. To ensure that the vehicles' tanks are filled with fuel, fuel station operator Alla Aginskaya spends most of her working time at the gas station, and without her, not a single bus or truck would be able to go on a route. The same can be said about the technical inspectors of mechanical vehicles, Sergey Kablash, Andrey Buyan, Viktor Artyushevsky, and Evgeny Razmova, whose work involves technical inspections of equipment before it goes out on the route and upon its return. The nature of their work is shift-based, with shifts lasting 24 hours. On the day of our visit to the organization, one of the most experienced inspectors, Evgeny Razmova, who has been working for more than ten years, started his shift.

From all the roads, the company's buses come precisely here, to the Glusk bus station, and passengers also hurry here to buy a ticket and catch their bus. The main workers at the bus station are ticket cashiers Zoya Drako and Marina Borysievič, and senior cashier Inna Paretckaya. In this small team, youth and experience are also successfully combined: Zoya Nikolaevna has four decades of work experience, her colleagues have worked for significantly less time, but they also strive to become masters of their craft, and they are succeeding.

Tatiana Yefimovskaya holds two very important positions: she is the leading engineer for labor protection, and almost three years ago, she was elected chairperson of the primary trade union organization of the Autopark. She successfully copes with both areas of work, her main job and her public work.

A successful professional tandem is formed by the director of the branch, Igor Artemchik, and the deputy director - chief engineer, Viktor Filippovich: the enterprise operates at a profit, its material base is being updated, and wages are growing, with new personnel joining the team. This means that the right management decisions are being made, and there are all the prospects for growth and development.

We wish the Glusk branch of Autopark No. 15 to continue successfully fulfilling all its plans and tasks, and we wish its employees to live and work with pleasure, to be healthy and prosperous.
