Belarusian citizens who received privatization vouchers "Property" (IPC) in 1993–1997 can still use them today. Unused securities fully retain their relevance and legal force.
Voucher holders can use them in several ways: exchange them for shares of joint-stock companies, give them to close relatives, or pass them on by inheritance and bequeath them.
Exchanging vouchers for shares gives the right to participate in the company's management and receive dividends from its profit. The registration procedure itself takes place at authorized branches of JSC "ASB Belarusbank", where the citizen only needs to present a passport and the original voucher certificate.
Before visiting the bank, it is advisable to choose an enterprise. Shares of more than 130 joint-stock companies from various sectors are available for exchange, including 38 companies from the Gomel region. The full list of companies is available on the website of JSC "ASB Belarusbank" or directly at the institution's branches.
The list of regional enterprises offering shares in exchange for vouchers, as well as information on dividends paid for 2025 and their exact amount, is posted on the website of the "Gomeloblimushchestvo" committee. At the same time, the availability and size of payments directly depend on the profit of the specific company and the number of shares held by the citizen.
An alternative option is to exchange vouchers for shares and sell them on the exchange, taking into account market risks and demand (for example, in 2026, shares of JSC "KHIREMONT" were sold for 200 rubles each). By a resolution of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, the circulation period of "Property" vouchers has been officially extended until December 31, 2030, so citizens should use this time to derive real benefit from the securities.
